Disney Feedback

Last night I got a call from Camille Eden, a representative at Disney Feature Animation, and although it wasn't to hire me on the spot (which would've been a dream) she actually took the time to give me productive criticism about my reel!  A lot of what she said made sense and I'm planning to work harder at my art because of it.  I never thought they would even get to see my reel with all the thousands of entries that I imagine they are getting from animators around the world but it was a pleasant surprise!  If there was something that can kick my animation butt in high gear, this would be it.  I want to get down to traditional roots for my new short so it should be a blast, meaning no shortcuts!  Now I have a better understanding as to what they are looking for and all the better for it.  Animate, animate, animate!
